House Rules & Guest Policies
Last updated: July 7, 2026
Introduction
These House Rules help us keep YesterYears Motel clean, safe, and comfortable for every guest. They are part of your stay and are incorporated into our Terms of Service. By checking in, you agree to follow these rules, and you are responsible for ensuring that everyone in your party follows them as well.
Check-in and Check-out
At check-in we require a valid government-issued photo ID and the payment card used for the reservation. Check-in and check-out times are as posted or as stated in your confirmation. Early check-in and late check-out may be available on request and are not guaranteed.
Quiet Hours and Conduct
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please be considerate of other guests at all times and keep noise to a reasonable level. We reserve the right to ask any guest whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful to leave the property without a refund.
Occupancy and Visitors
Each room may only be occupied by the number of guests booked for that room, up to its maximum occupancy. Non-registered overnight visitors are not permitted. If additional guests join your party, please contact the front desk so we can update your reservation.
Smoking Policy
All rooms and indoor areas are strictly non-smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaping devices. Smoking is permitted outdoors in designated areas only. If there is evidence of smoking in a room, a $250 cleaning fee will be charged to the card on file to cover deep cleaning and lost availability of the room.
Pets and Service Animals
Pets are not permitted in any guest room or anywhere on the property. Guests found with an unauthorized animal may be charged a cleaning fee and asked to leave without a refund.
In accordance with applicable law, service animals that assist guests with disabilities are welcome and are not considered pets. A service animal must be kept under the handler’s control at all times — harnessed, leashed, or tethered — and must be housebroken. The guest remains responsible for the care and supervision of the animal and for any damage it causes.
Parking
Please register your vehicle at check-in and park only in designated areas. Vehicles and their contents are left at your own risk; we are not responsible for theft of or damage to any vehicle or its contents.
Damage and Property Care
Please treat the room and our property with care. You are responsible for any loss or damage to the room, its furnishings, or our property caused during your stay, beyond normal wear and tear. Charges for repair, replacement, missing items, or extraordinary cleaning may be applied to the card on file, as described in our Terms of Service.
Personal Belongings and Lost Property
You are responsible for your own personal property during your stay. We are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any cash, valuables, or personal belongings left in a room, vehicle, or anywhere on the property. Items left behind that are found by our staff will be held for a limited period and then donated or discarded.
Prohibited Items and Activities
Illegal activity of any kind is prohibited on the property. Guests may not bring or use hazardous, flammable, or dangerous materials, tamper with safety equipment, or use the room or property for any purpose other than lodging. Violation of these rules may result in immediate removal without a refund.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel a reservation, or require a guest to leave the property, without a refund, for conduct that is unsafe, unlawful, disruptive, or in violation of these House Rules.
